I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a board certified art therapist with more than 20 years experience working with children and adults. My practice is currently in Montville Township, NJ (Pine Brook). I work in the Center for Psychotherapy and Personal Growth as well as Bi-State DBT Associates.
I have had extensive experience working in a variety of settings helping victims of trauma and loss, and those suffering from anxiety and depression. I am a trained Dialectical Behavioral Therapist and therefore utilize aspects of acceptance and change into my work with clients. I help clients identify and express their feelings, change ineffective behaviors and create a meaningful life. This is achieved by teaching clients the skills needed for a life worth living.
I am creative, sensitive, compassionate and interactive with my clients. My office is warm and inviting and very appealing to most children and adults. I offer clients the skills to help identify problem areas and make life changes. Blending all my training, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I work with each client (child or adult) to help them build on their strengths and identify and achieve life goals.
